First Snow and New Bird Setup

We had our first noticeable snow this year on Sunday. The good kind that falls, doesn't stick to anything but the grass and melts away the next day. No shoveling, no salting... Here are some pictures for those of you enjoying hot summer weather!

We purchased a new bird feeder set up from a great wild bird store near us. The birds are loving it, and the squirrels have been unable to master the set up yet. The squirrel blocker is supposed to work no matter what, we shall see what the little buggers figure out with this one. We had a nice morning watching three of them try to scale the new set up, and they were thwarted every time so far.

Here's the level crazy aussie, I think he used the level 50 times to make sure it was straight.

Our woodpecker friend was loving the new set up quickly. He was the first to try it out.

Where did you find a billabong jumper in the US?

Probably get them cheaper than we do :)

He actually had that from Australia, but there are billabong stores here in the US. :)

And you're right, the jumper is about $45 here, and we looked up online in Australia it was $99!

You should only buy Billabong if they advertise on FUEL TV (yes, that's one of mine). Otherwise, F 'em.

The bird feeder looks tilted in the last picture.

LOL That's probably the ultimate revenge comment you could have posted to the "level boy."
